Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

ClariLung subscriptions are managed through the platform you subscribed on:

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ClariLung Premium → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ClariLung Premium → Cancel
  • Web: Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription — this opens your Stripe customer portal where you can cancel or change plans

Cancelling stops auto-renewal at the end of your current billing period. You keep Premium access until that period ends. See the full Subscription Terms for details.

How do I delete my account?

In the app or on the web, go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm with your password. Your account is deactivated and all your data is permanently deleted immediately — there is no grace period.

If you can't access the app, email ceo@duskfieldstudios.com from the address on your account.

Important: deleting your ClariLung account does NOT cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel that separately so you aren't charged again. See Account Deletion for the full details.

My streak reset — was that a bug?

Streaks reset when you log a slip (a moment you vaped, smoked, or used after your quit date). If a streak reset you didn't expect:

  • Check whether a slip was logged — go to your craving history in the app
  • If you logged a slip accidentally, email us and include your account email and the approximate date/time — we can investigate
  • Streaks are stored as an append-only log; a reset opens a new streak but doesn't delete your history or health timeline

The AI Craving Coach isn't responding / seems rate-limited

The AI Coach is powered by Anthropic's Claude. Occasional delays can happen during high-traffic periods. If you see a "try again later" message:

  • Wait a minute and retry — most rate-limit windows clear quickly
  • Check that your device has an internet connection
  • Try force-quitting and reopening the app

If the coach is consistently unavailable for more than 15 minutes, email us.

My Apple Watch / Wear OS isn't syncing

The wearable apps sync over Bluetooth and the paired phone's internet connection. Steps to troubleshoot:

  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the watch is within range
  • Open the ClariLung phone app and navigate to the dashboard — this triggers a sync push
  • On Apple Watch: force-quit the ClariLung complication and reopen it
  • On Wear OS: open the ClariLung tile and tap the refresh icon
  • If widgets are stale, iOS widgets refresh on a 15-minute timeline; opening the app forces an immediate refresh

If none of the above works, uninstall and reinstall the watch app (your data lives in the cloud — nothing is lost).

How does the taper plan work?

When you set up ClariLung with "gradual taper" as your quit method, the app calculates a daily puff target using a quadratic decay curve — gentle at the start, steeper near the end. Each day you'll see your target in the dashboard; log your actual puffs to track progress. The taper plan adapts if you choose to extend or shorten the timeline in Settings.

How do I get a refund?

For App Store and Google Play purchases, refunds are handled by Apple and Google directly:

  • iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Android: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions

For web (Stripe) subscriptions, email ceo@duskfieldstudios.com within 14 days of the charge — no questions asked. See the full Refund & Cancellation Policy.


Report a bug

Found something broken? Use the bug report form — it lets you attach a screenshot and automatically includes your app version, so we can reproduce it faster. You can also email ceo@duskfieldstudios.com. Helpful details to include:

  • What you were doing when the bug occurred (e.g. "I tapped the craving log button on the dashboard")
  • What you expected to happen (e.g. "the craving modal should open")
  • What actually happened (e.g. "the app went blank and I had to restart it")
  • Your platform — iOS / Android / web, and the app version (visible in Settings → About)
  • Screenshots or screen recordings if you have them — these help us reproduce the issue faster

We log every bug report to our internal tracker and aim to acknowledge within 1 business day.
